We all have the potential for enlightenment. To fulfill this potential we need to gain develop a profound wisdom that realizes the true nature of things and to receive the inspiring blessings of the enlightened beings, the Buddhas.

The empowerment is a blissful guided meditation through which we receive Prajnaparamita’s wisdom blessings. During this special Thanksgiving weekend event, Gen Rigpa will give teachings on the nature of wisdom, grant the empowerment of Prajnaparamita, and give commentary to the brief and powerful practice of Prajnaparamita self-generation, which comes from Buddha’s tantric teachings, the quick path to enlightenment. Applying these methods in our daily life allows us to actualize the enlightened qualities of wisdom, love, joy and compassion in our own lives.

Gen Kelsang Rigpa is an American Buddhist monk, the Western US National Spiritual Director of the NKT-IKBU, and the Resident Teacher at KMC-Hollywood, KMC-California, and Prajnaparamita Kadampa Buddhist Center. He is a close disciple of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, having received lineage blessings and oral transmissions directly from him.
