In these meditation classes we will familiarize ourselves with the minds of Lamrim, a Tibetan word that means stages of the path.

Lamrim is a special set of meditations presented by the Indian Buddhist Master Atisha and clarified by Tibetan Master and scholar Je Tsongkhapa. Lamrim condenses all the essential teachings of Buddha Shakyamuni into a practice that modern people can use in their daily life.

Our Center’s Founder, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, makes Lamrim even more accessible for modern people with his books, which now appear in many languages. These are the texts we use in the class for our Lamrim meditations.

Each class begins with a guided breathing meditation, preparatory prayers, and culminates with a second meditation based upon the evening’s topic. Drop in to any or all classes in this course. Perfect for beginners or those with meditation experience. Open to everyone.
