An event every week that begins at 12:30 pm on Thursday, repeating until July 26, 2018
During this Thursday half hour session we are guided through a simple Lamrim meditation. This type of meditation allows us to focus on virtue in our own mind, and is perfect for beginners and advanced meditators.
We begin by focusing on the breath so our worries, distractions, and obsessive ways of thinking can fall away. From within this peaceful space, we contemplate the day’s Lamrim object and focus on it with concentration. Increasing our familiarity with Lamrim minds in meditation is an excellent way to neutralize negative mental habits. Refreshed and relaxed, we’ll find it easier to deal with day to day stress.
