Center Cherishing & Potluck Social

Summer is almost over, and new fall classes will be starting soon. To prepare both the center and ourselves for an auspicious beginning to the new season, we are hosting a Center Cherishing Potluck Social Event.
Please join us as we give our beloved center a thorough cleaning (cherishing), and then kick off the fall season with a potluck party! This is an opportunity to gain merit through our practice of giving, to meet and mingle with other members of our Sangha who attend different classes, to learn more about the upcoming fall schedule, and to eat yummy vegetarian food while celebrating our good fortune to be able to study Dharma in Santa Barbara.
Cherishing: 10:00 am – noon
Potluck Party: 12:30 – 2:30 pm
(Please come for either or both!)
Where: Mahakankala Buddhist Center
508 Brinkerhoff Ave., Santa Barbara
Please bring: Yourself, kids, interested friends
Your favorite vegetarian dish to share (if possible)
(Donations of paper towels & toilet paper also welcomed!)
