The Blessing Empowerment of Buddha Shakyamuni with teachings on the Kadampa Way of Life
Everyone is welcome to join in this powerful weekend event where Gen Kelsang Rigpa, the Western US National Spiritual Director, will grant the blessing empowerment of Buddha Shakyamuni and give teachings on the Kadampa Way of Life.
The empowerment and teachings will be held at Kadampa Meditation Center Hollywood in Los Angeles.
Who is Buddha Shakyamuni?
Buddha Shakyamuni is the founder of Buddhism in this world; he lived and gave teachings in India over 2400 years ago. Since then, millions of people around world have followed the spiritual path he revealed. The Buddhist way of life of peace, loving kindness and wisdom can be just as relevant today as it was in ancient India. Buddha explained that all our problems and suffering arise from confused and negative states of mind, and that all our happiness and good fortune arise from peaceful and positive states of mind.
What is an empowerment?
An empowerment is a blissful, guided meditation and special practice through which we connect with Buddha Shakyamuni and receive powerful inspiring blessings.
