Mahakankala Kadampa Buddhist Center offers a variety of classes to suit your schedule and level of experience. Please check this month’s calendar to confirm the class days and times.

Lunchtime meditation classes on Tuesday at 12:30pm last only half an hour and are designed to offer a way to find inner peace through meditation even amidst a busy weekly schedule.

Monday and Wednesday evening classes in Santa Barbara are suitable for all levels of interest, from the beginning student to the more experienced meditator.

Sunday morning Meditation for World Peace is a practice class for new or more experienced students to deepen their formal practice of meditation using Avalokiteshvara Sadhana – Prayers and Requests to the Buddha of Compassion.

For those who are interested in more in-depth study of Buddhist topics and who wish to deepen their meditation practice, we offer more advanced classes through our Foundation Program. This class requires prior enrollment.
