$10Developing Great Compassion
This series will present meditations that help us cultivate a genuine feeling of closeness to others. When we contemplate and meditate on the reasons that prove that everyone is a worthy object of our love and compassion, we are training in developing “Great”, or “Universal” Compassion.
Relying upon the insights of Buddha’s lojong teachings, each of these classes will be an opportunity to learn methods for developing and maintaining the growth of compassion in our daily life.
Drop in to any or all classes in this course. Perfect for beginners or those with meditation experience.
Class Fee $10
Each class begins with a guided breathing meditation and brief prayers, and culminates with a second meditation based upon the evening’s topic. Perfect for beginners or those with meditation experience. Open to everyone.
Please arrive a few minutes early to settle, whether in person or online.
