DESCRIPTION:Retreat is a time to withdraw our attention from the world and place it on meaningful meditation objects. This online retreat will be guided on Saturday and Sunday by our Resident Teacher\, Kadam Keli Vaughan. Monday’s online sessions will be self-guided. \nThe meaningful meditation object of this retreat is our own mind turning towards the Three Jewels for protection from inner and outer dangers. This mind is called Refuge\, and it is the door through which we enter Buddhism. ‘Refuge’ means protection. \n\nThe preparatory prayers for this retreat will be Essence of Good Fortune\, which you can purchase for download (ebooklet) HERE. You may also purchase a copy from our center’s bookstore for “curbside” pick-up.
