As we deal with everything from minor insecurities and social anxiety to concerns about major world events\, it’s hard to find a sense of safety and tranquility. Even worse\, our fears often stop us from doing what’s right for ourselves and others. During this US Festival we will discover how to develop a spiritual power by relying on Buddha Vajrapani that will help us break out of this fearful state into a courageous\, empowered attitude. We will also learn how to harness the five forces\, a special inner tool\, to bring about radical\, positive change in our life. \nBuddha Vajrapani is the Buddha of spiritual power. With the development of spiritual power we possess the confidence\, inner strength and skill not only to take on and defeat our own delusions\, but to be of great benefit in helping free others from their delusions as well. DESCRIPTION:Join us In Person \nIf you enjoy meditating with others\, chanted meditations are a great opportunity to engage in group meditation. These chanted meditations are also known in Sanskrit as pujas\, meaning offering; and the prayers we recite are sadhanas\, meaning methods for receiving attainments. \nOur prayers are in English. We request the blessings\, protection and guidance of the holy beings. We can make requests for ourselves or for others who need help or protection. These spiritual practices create a strong connection with the Buddhas\, and help us purify our negativity and fill our mind with positive\, healing energy. \nHeart Jewel puja includes a period of silence for meditation. By relying upon this practice\, we can purify negativity\, accumulate merit\, and receive blessings. In this way\, we will naturally accomplish all the realizations of the stages of the path to Enlightenment and attain a very special Dharma wisdom. \nAll chanted prayers are free.

Please check our web calendar to confirm class meetings. \nEach class begins with a guided breathing meditation\, preparatory prayers\, and culminates with a second meditation based upon the topic of the evening. Drop in to any or all classes in this course. Perfect for beginners or those with meditation experience. \nAbout the Class \nLamrim is a special presentation of Buddhist teachings that modern people can practice in their daily lives. Lamrim originated with the Indian Buddhist Master Atisha\, and was later clarified by Tibetan Master and scholar Je Tsongkhapa. \nOur Founder\, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche\, makes Lamrim even more accessible for modern people in his books\, which appear in many languages.
